Senior Symposium

The Senior Symposia program at Greenfield Community College is a collaborative effort between GCC’s Office of Workforce Development & Community Education and area senior citizens. The program encourages seniors to continue their education through attending talks on a variety of subjects. Persons of all ages are welcome to attend the symposia and participate in the lively discussions that follow the presentations.

Because of the on-going pandemic, Fall 2021 Senior Symposia will be delivered via Zoom. We will offer six one-hour presentations, running from late September to early November. Talks will be offered on weekdays from 2-3pm with a typical format of a 45-minute presentation, followed by approximately 15 minutes for questions from the Zoom audience. All symposia will be offered free of charge.

Register below by clicking “Add to the Cart” when viewing a symposium description. Registrants will receive a Zoom link by email to use for participating in the symposium. (For information on how to use Zoom, go to Talks will also be available free online following each presentation. No registration is required for access to recorded talks. Questions and comments from audience members can be made only on the original date of transmission.
