Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Operator training is an advanced manufacturing training program that will prepare you for a career as a precision machinist, with the potential to earn up to $75,000 annually. The training includes: CNC programming, blueprint reading, introduction to CAD, CNC mill operations, and CNC lathe operations.

Programs are offered through a partnership between GCC, Franklin County Technical School, the Franklin-Hampshire Regional Employment Board and Career Centers, area manufacturing companies and community partners to develop and implement new training programs to meet the growing demand in manufacturing.

Funding may be available for eligible participants.

Veterans, women, unemployed and other under-represented groups are especially encouraged to apply. Eligible veterans, dependents and active military members can now use GI Bill funding for this training. Contact veterans@gcc.mass.edu for more information.
