An introduction to architectural modeling utilizing computer software and hand tools. The course introduces computer assisted drawing basics such as working with pens, layers, fills, textures, and objects before moving into more advanced topics including building modeling, presentation rendering, animation creation and drawing layout. Students create a 3-D model of a building and generate simple architectural plans, elevations, rendered perspectives and even "fly through" animations.

(Note: Students should have basic math, language and computer operation skills.)

This is the non-credit option of REE 133.
