Microsoft Applications I

Provides students with an introduction to several major “productivity” programs used on microcomputers. Topics include the Windows operating system, word processing, electronic spreadsheet management and graph production using currently popular software packages, and some database management. This is a hands-on course. Special Requirement: Students not currently engaged in daily computer use should consider CIS 096 and CIS 110 prior to taking CIS 140.
