Workers in manufacturing and health care industries are required to meet minimum federal workplace safety standards in compliance with 29 CFR 1910. Topics include an introduction to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), personal protective equipment, electrical safety, walking-working surfaces, emergency exit routes, fire prevention plans, machine guards, hazard communication, and blood-borne pathogens. Participants will receive an OSHA 29CFR1926 10-hour card and completion certificate issued by US Department of Labor. Full scholarships are available to those who qualify.

Upon successful completion of this training, participants will understand the minimum federal workplace safety standards in compliance with 29 CFR 1910.
