We are all born resilient--capable of bouncing back and recovering from hard times. In fact, it's part of our evolutionary hard-wiring to be resourceful, creative, and whole. But life will throw obstacles in our way. How we work our way through those setbacks impacts every aspect of our lives: how we view ourselves, our interpersonal relationships, our physical health, and our psychological well-being. Whether we are resilient impacts our energy and motivation.

There's now a significant body of research on resilience--why it seems some have an easier time bouncing back than others in hard times and how we all can intentionally access more of this innate resource.

We'll explore the science behind resilience and learn tools gleaned from the research to help develop and strengthen the resilience muscle. There are many. They are surprisingly easy to learn, don't take a lot of time, and shift our perspective so we see the bigger picture with more hope and optimism. By the end of our time together, participants will know how to maximize their own resiliency so that they can be even more effective whether times are good or difficult. (In fact, we'll learn the stuff we maybe wish our parents had taught us, but they didn't know themselves.)
